Stem Cell Research

It is way too easy to make embryonic stem cell research into an oversimplification of far-right v far-left. Please attempt to view this not so much from the religious viewpoint but from bio ethical viewpoint. Granted bioethics is not easy to grasp, but an understanding of the decision making process that hospitals and research centers must make when approaching this issue will help the public to make better informed decisions.

Please note that stem cells come from a variety of sources. Embryonic is just one source. One can oppose embryonic stem cell research while supporting stem research from other sources.

The Center for Bioethics and Culture Network-against embryonic stem cell research. Opinion
